Cavern Deep do a very good job of molding this record to suit their concept: it is dark, strange, cramped, slightly hallucinatory, and... wet. Kudos to the psychedelic exploratory songwriting, which expertly feels like you are exploring the dark earth rather than space & time. Riffs = check, heaviness = check, etc., but the guys should really pat themselves on the back for expert mood-crafting, which in my book is the tougher thing to nail. pinkytheent
